About Nepal


Nepal is a beautiful Himalayan country with rich treasures of natural and cultural heritages. Kathmandu, the capital city, features exciting ancient temples and a rich cultural life. Nepal has a rich treasury of conventional knowledge and has a lively academic community.

However, there is a dearth of sufficient number of academic and training institutions in the higher education sector in the country. Accordingly, thousands of students go abroad for higher studies from Nepal each year. It is estimated that over 3000 students go abroad for higher studies on self-finance basis each year.

There are about 62 institutions formally registered with the HMG/N for providing Educational Counseling services to these students. However, the need of professional education counseling institutions is still widely felt. Students, today, are facing a number of technical and procedural difficulties because of this. Likewise, Universities and Colleges abroad do also need competent and professional counselors so that they will get genius students who meet their admission criteria.
